The legacy continues
The iconic Swedish camera brand Hasselblad has adapted the L2D-20c aerial camera for the DJI Mavic 3, incorporating a professional quality 4/3 CMOS in a sleek and compact format. Strict Hasselblad standards apply to both hardware performance algorithms and software algorithms, taking image quality to a whole new level.
Camera 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad
- Photos 20MP
- Dynamic range 12.8 stops
- Adjustable aperture f / 2,8-f / 11
- Equivalent focal length 24 mm
- Vision Detection Auto Focus (VDAF)
A larger image sensor not only offers the Mavic 3 higher resolution and dynamic range, but also suppresses noise more effectively in low light environments.
Dynamic range 12.8 stops
The CMOS 4/3 sensor has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops to maintain more detail in highlighted areas and shadows, taking the image to a professional level.
An adjustable aperture is available to meet the needs of the aerial photographer in a wide variety of lighting scenarios.
Wide 84 ° FOV
Weighing just 12.5 grams, the equivalent 24mm autofocus lens has 84 ° FOV for more detailed detail.
Vision Detection Auto Focus (VDAF)
The Hasselblad camera on the Mavic 3 features VDAF technology, which works with multiple vision sensors to utilize distance data and optimize focusing speed.
Mavic 3 features Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS), which is the result of decades of photographic experience. This ensures vividly accurate natural colors that look spectacular even without defaults or post-processing.
No need for post-processing
Relying on a complex post-processing has never been part of Hasselblad’s philosophy. Starting with the sensor pixel level, Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) ensures the capture of natural and high-precision colors, no matter where you shoot.
Pixel level calibration
To ensure that the Mavic 3 captures color with the same iconic quality as other Hasselblad cameras, the L2D-20c lens adheres to the same strict standards as any sensor pixel calibrated with HNCS built-in.
Upon download, the RGB color data received from the sensor will be converted via Hasselblad’s unique image processing algorithm and color processing function, delivering the best possible natural colors in any scene.
Create professional images with the Hasselblad L2D-20c camera system.
Higher dynamic range allows for more natural transitions between tones and shadows, while maintaining rich visual information with a greater sense of depth.
A larger sensor size keeps images clear in low light.
- 5.1K video recording
- DCI 4K / 120fps
- Apple ProRes 422 HQ
- 10-bit D-Log color profile
Mavic 3 uses its professional imaging performance to record aerial video at high resolutions and frame rates. Its camera also captures up to a billion colors thanks to the 10-bit D-Log color profile, offering natural color gradations and advanced post-processing flexibility.
Mavic 3 Cine supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ encoding with a maximum data rate of 3,772 Mbps. It also supports a built-in 1TB SSD and 10 Gbps data cable at light speeds to further facilitate professional download, editing and creation.
A unique telephoto camera makes Explore the perfect way to explore and plan your shots.
- 28x Hybrid Zoom
- 162mm, f / 4.4
When scenes or subjects are far away, use the telephoto camera to zoom in and save time. You can even use it to record subjects remotely without disturbing the scene.
Omnidirectional obstacle detection
The Mavic 3’s advanced security features allow you to spend more time focusing on perfect shooting. Multiple wide-angle vision sensors work seamlessly with a high-performance computer vision mechanism to accurately detect obstacles in all directions and plan safe flight paths.
Complete any flight with Advanced RTH, which allows Mavic 3 to automatically determine the optimal return route to its starting point and complete a safe return flight on its own.
Whether activated by the user or activated by signal loss, the Mavic 3 can easily return to the starting point.
Enjoy the flight
Mavic 3 also makes the flight more fun by recording that is no longer interrupted by obstacles on the road. During the flight, the Mavic 3 constantly senses objects in all directions and bypasses them smoothly and quickly.
Enjoy your flight without worrying about collisions, even when flying in complex environments.
Take smooth shots even when you encounter obstacles.
Extended flight time
Video transmission range
1080p / 60fps
FHD High-Frame-Rate live stream
High precision detection
Extended flight time
Perform each step from route planning to composition and even record a hyperlapse video, all during a flight. The Mavic 3’s air resistance is 50% stronger than its predecessor, using a more efficient propulsion system and a high-capacity battery to extend flight time to an incredible 46 minutes.
Fly farther, see more
With a range of 15 km, the Mavic 3 not only flies farther, but also transmits signals with higher stability and less video latency, giving you more peace of mind during the flight.
FHD High-Frame-Rate transmission with smooth live streaming
The Mavic 3 is the first DJI drone that can transmit live streaming 1080p / 60fps. This means that the camera view is displayed at a resolution close to that actually captured by the camera. It also makes the Mavic 3 more responsive to your control.
A new level of flight safety: DJI Cellular Transmission Dongle
With the Cellular Transmission Dongle connected, the Mavic 3 can switch to 4G networks for a smooth, stable connection when O3 + signals are blocked by buildings, trees or other structures. During the flight, the O3 + transmission coordinates with the 4G transmission, alternating seamlessly to ensure a seamless shooting experience.
High precision installation
High precision mounting makes the Mavic 3 incredibly stable during swinging. This ensures the photos are crystal clear, improves high exposure shots and helps you shoot timelapse and hyperlapse videos more smoothly.
